Amaranthine is the biological daughter between the moon elf Lavyla and the obyrith demon Pazuzu. Despite being raised solely by her mother, Amaranthine craves her father's attention and approval, even though she often has moral conflicts with his motives and wishes.
When her sister Alda is enslaved in the Abyss, Amaranthine becomes determined to prove herself to her father and rise in power above mortals and demons, and hold power in the Abyss through straight-up nepotism. With this power, she believes she can rescue and reunite with her sister. In addition to saving her sister, Amaranthine also firmly believes is her birthright to have more power and leverage through the ties with her father.
Despite this plan and all of Amaranthine's attempts at appeasement, Pazuzu has yet to award her any real unholy power. Nonetheless taking advantage of her desperation and drive, Pazuzu enjoys commanding her to do tasks for him anyways, to which she has been doing mostly small ones for nearly a year.
Appearance
Amaranthine is a tall woman with a lean, fit frame. She has a prominent aquiline nose with almost a beak-like shape, and elf-like beauty from her mother's side— as long as the beholder doesn’t find aesthetic issue with her prominent nose.
Her skin is a saturated magenta, hair is an amaranth dark reddish-pink, eyes deep blue, and wings are color bands of maroon and light coral. After being literally "grounded" by her father, she was punished by having the ends of her wings clipped, rendering her flightless.
Her ears are pointed like an elf's, claws sharp like a demon, and wings feathered like a bird. Thanks to having an atypical appearance for a cambion, she claims to be an avariel to avoid revealing her demonic lineage.
History
Amaranthine was born after her mother, Lavyla, kept pestering and bothering her (one of many) husbands, Pazuzu, for a child. Her mother not only wanted to settle down after adventuring, but she also wanted a sibling for her adoptive (stolen) daughter, Alda.
Lavyla is partially— if not entirely— infertile due to health issues, so she kept demanding Pazuzu use his unholy powers to do something about it. For unclear and potentially cavalier or/and meaningless reasons, he indulged her. This resulted in Lavyla only biological child, Amaranthine, but she still raised her adoptive daughter alongside her as if she were her own. Despite their differences, Alda and Amaranthine were very close, and raised entirely by their mother.
Personality

Yet she is just as prone to sucking up to a powerful benevolent figures as well; whichever she thinks will benefit her the most, regardless of her moral compass.
She tries to exude a better-than-you condescending attitude to people, particularly because of her deep desire for power and her personal belief she is due it by virtue of being her father's daughter. People are often off-put by her entitlement and shallowness, although strangers may be respectful out of caution thinking she is nobility or part of upper society, considering how she acts, dresses, and talks up herself. Indirectly supporting that misconception, she will sometimes hint at or say that her family is very powerful and influential, mostly for clout but occasionally as a threat. She will occasionally threaten that her father is a very powerful man in order to intimidate people, but will sheepishly shy away from saying who he is when someone asks.
Taking after her mom, she can also attempt to be smooth-talking and seductive to get what she wants, if she truly believe intimidation wouldn't work. However, unlike her mom, she will avoid putting out whenever possible, and is more likely to just use seduction to lower someone's guard down in order to have the upper hand when she drops the act and transitions into violence and subjection. Amaranthine, although not a virgin, is very sexually inexperienced, so she can only flirt so much before she has to default back to intimidation if her lack of seduction skill becomes obvious.
She secretly really likes animals and children, because caring or looking after a creature dependent on her makes her feel important. It was because of this soft spot for animals that she kept her hellhound puppy, Pork Chop.
