Leo was a shark merperson that casually hooked up with Alistair during her species' mating season each year, until one season he accidentally bit her to death.
Appearance
Leo appears as a sleek thin woman with a noticeable hourglass figure, with shark fins on her forearms, back, and hips. Her skin transitions from pale beige-like on her face and underbelly, to grey-blue on her legs and fins. Over her chest and shoulders she bears several shark bite mating scars, as well as a bite from a former mate out of her left fin.
Her teeth are sharp and serrated, and she has "shark bite" piercings: four studs beneath her lower lip. Other piercings she has include a fish hook septum, and two rings plus the dangling tooth of a former mate on her dorsal fin.
Like most merpeople, she has gills on her neck and the ability to shapeshift into her marine form, a shark.
As a shark merperson, she will enter tonic immobility when turned on her back, causing a temporary state of paralysis.
Personality
Leo is callous and confident, unwavering even to other intimating cryptids and monsters.
While uninterested in love or romance, she is driven to mate every breeding season for her species, and for her last few years of life had selected Alistair to mate with her. However, after the season was over and he would try to stay in contact, she'd ghost him until the next season.
Uninterested in being a mother, however, she would eat the resulting pups she would later birth; as many shark species are known to do.
In the bedroom, she was a very aggressive partner that enjoyed sadomasochism, wanting to be able to bite others until she breaks skin and have them do the same back to her. These extreme sexual interests would eventually lead to her accidentally dying during sex.
History
For many years, she engaged in her routine of mating during breeding season, ghosting her former mates, eating the resulting pups, and repeating. Until she met Alistair, who admired her proclivity to bite and eat others; activities he himself was a fan of. They became intense sexual partners, but only for a few weeks whenever Leo's breeding season came up. She would reject any of his attempts to connect with her outside of breeding purposes.
One year during her breeding season, Alistair flipped Leo onto her back and accidentally paralyzed her from tonic immobility. Unable to defend herself or stop him like she normally did during sex, her throat was bit out by Alistair, unintentionally killing her.
